DSUSD board meeting

This is a brief comment to be read at the meeting. I will follow up with a more detailed comment the I will post on substack and send to the board.

Good evening board

While it‘s true that multiple ideologies and agendas have infiltrated our institutions many of which do not have the people of this country’s best interest at heart, we need to shine a light on the motivations and more importantly the outcomes as it pertains to what is referred to as “stakeholders” in today’s vernacular. 

As it relates to education the main stakeholder is our children as well as their parents. The effect would be performance and quality of their education and the tangible results in terms of employment and furthering the enrichment and growth of our society. 

Over the last few meetings you have discussed various programs and the performance of the students. I think you would agree that the lowering of the “baseline” is not progress.  

In the interest of time I will post a more comprehensive statement on parkwest.substack.com but in conclusion we need to understand that any agenda that divides the races,

sexualizes young children, teaches an alternative biased version of history and promotes a dysphoric version of gender and sexuality is not supported by the majority of parents or students. Again those are the “stakeholders” not the nea, teachers unions state or federal government. 

The pendulum always swings in the other direction and these small minority groups and ideologies will not have influence and power forever. Plan accordingly.
